Why Photography

My passion for photography started back when instagram and tumblr came out back in the early 2000’s. I remember seeing all those cool photos of cars, food, buildings and people doing super cool things. I would look sit back and admire all the different styles from model photos on Americans next top model to looking at photos of amazing dunks in NBA games. I always knew I wanted to take amazing photographs and share them with my friends but I never knew where to start. I enrolled in to photography class at the local community college but I had an extremely boring teacher and let’s just say it didn’t work out. A few years passed and I still had a love for photography and decided that I would stop wasting time and just teach my self. I started on YouTube watching people I didn’t know explain things I couldn’t really understand till I decided that I would just take my camera outside and practice. I spent a summer doing street photography in East Lansing. I eventually got better and started to build a nice following on instagram. I kept shaping my skills and reaching out to friends and family to use them as models for my photography business. I say this to tell a story about my passion for photography and I promise to apply that same energy to every single shoot. Photography is special to me and I would love to be your photographer that captures special moments for you.

-I’m quite down to earth and sarcastic. I love random chats about life, traveling and creating art. When we meet, I can promise you 2 things - laughs till your stomach hurts, as well as beautiful photo memories that we’ll create together.
